There are so many scam ones out there.

I use coupon/promo code sites like Groupon and even Coupon Cabin. But my favorite is The Krazy Coupon Lady because it is more of a blog with up-to-date deals and sales.

There are mistakes, outdated information, and sometimes they’re simply wrong about the opportunities that’re out there. The latest: a money-making opportunity on hummus at two large retailers using a very popular rebate app: allegedly, users could get about a dollar back (before any applicable taxes); the reality is the rebate is for $0.50, no coupons available currently, no sales, etc. Consumers aren’t going to be getting free hummus like KCL is claiming.

How much more reliable are the codes? Would I be able to find a functional promo code for my Uber Eats Pass? ๐Ÿ˜‚

It’s ideal for well-known retailers, and for some, it even separates the retailer into multiple entities, each of which with its own code/deals list. UE, Microsoft/Xbox/Microsoft 365. Other than that, it underwhelms me. It also takes forever for the cash-back to be approved, and it’s either PayPal or Venmo to redeem, but redemption is instant. All info is useful info IMO. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ve been experimenting for months, and I haven’t had much luck with Capital One Shopping. Are they more oriented toward retailers (Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Newegg, etc.)? I use apps like Mercari, eBay, and Aliexpress when I can’t seem to find a code/sale/etc., I’m content with. Any feedback welcome!

RetailMeNot shows daily deals from many reputable retailers and doesnโ€™t require a login, which is nice.
