I’m almost certain parents who are high-achievers see right through this high-cost, low long-term return activity while the parents who always found achievements fleeting throughout life toss their kids in your head and wallet first (in the name of supporting their kid when a big part of it is a 2nd chance at achievement in life for them even if they have to pay for it).

First of all parents should realize this and band together, and make the associations set expectations for hosting companies. Paying cash for “card fraud mitigation” is a rort (it’s tax and fee avoidance) and just shrugging you’re shoulders about it is such a sheep laying down for the wolf it’s horrible to see.

I’m glad I could help! It’s overwhelming at first but you’ll catch on quickly. I didn’t know anything when my daughter first started and it’s a second language to me now. And prep teams are a great introduction to all star cheer! I hope your daughter loves it.

My daughter was recently invited to an All Star Prep team (she’s 8) and I have been searching for info because I have no experience in this world. This article was VERY helpful!

I don’t think they make any kid’s dreams cheap. 😉 It’s worth it for those smiles and learning choices and having the life they (and we) enjoy.
