This one is tough because their automated systems probably trigger on all sorts of reasons for the initial suspension. (Suspicious activity, too frequent pinning, etc.) Newer accounts seem especially vulnerable even when you didn’t do anything wrong but fall into one of their honeypot traps. Now, ensuing suspensions are probably just tied to your IP. You’re allowed to have multiple brand accounts so I’d suggest establishing the account through a VPN/on your mobile device outside of your home. As long as your pinning activity/platform usage falls within their rules, a few weeks to months of appropriate platform use should, likely, elevate you outside of whatever strict security controls they likely have in place for newer accounts.

(That said, if your account is established/you’re confident the suspension was an automated mistake, keep pursuing their appropriate contact channels.)

After finding a niche and attempting to start a blog, what are the technical bits like maybe registering the business name, getting a tax id and getting a business permit depending on the state, filing taxes, etc.?

Those have been daunting thoughts for me. 🙁
