Thanks for the information! Just a heads up, I know this article is old but BoardBooster has actually closed down and is just a group on Facebook now. Do you know of other options for finding group boards?

Yeah, it is somewhat difficult to navigate the fact that so many are closed – it’s definitely something we are handicapped by to some extent as well 🙁

Hi Ben,

I’ve joined a few Group boards a couple weeks ago and since pinning on those boards, I’ve noticed that my Pinterest traffic has increased dramatically.

Now I just need to find some amazing group boards that I can contribute to. I’ve personally found that the ones that I would like to join are not accepting new contributors.

Like you said, it takes time to find the right group boards. At least I was able to join a few group boards, I’d only been participating in Tailwind Tribes, which I love.

Didn’t know you could use Board Booster to find group boards! Awesome
Have been using pin groupie but it seems very outdated. Getting accepted is also a hard task as you say, I’ve applied to over 20 boards this week and nothing! Roll on 21 🙂

Unfortunately there isn’t really a great fit for finance content (which does likely hurt all of our content to some extent).

i.e. you put it in Education but a Teacher looking for a science lesson plan isn’t interested in finance content (or you put it in everything and its even more it or miss).

Using BoardBooster to find personal finance related boards is someone hard (but its really good for other niches obviously).

Great article! This really makes it easy to see why some of my group boards aren’t doing much for my pins. When looking for boards in BoardBooster, which category do you recommend for finance? I’ve looked under education, DIY, and everything else, but I only saw one or two finance boards. Any suggestions on where else to try? Are are they that elusive? 😉
