‘Amazing and vibrant’ healthy eating takeaway reveals plans for opening in Nottinghamshire
2 min readA healthy eating Korean takeaway is the latest addition to Nottinghamshire’s diverse food and drink scene.
Grounded Kitchen will be opening in West Bridgford – in the former Age UK shop in Tudor Square.
The company already has outlets in Leicester, Market Harborough and soon, Loughborough.
Since first opening in 2017, Grounded Kitchen has made a name for itself with nourishing, flavoursome food.
Specialities include spicy peanut buddha bowls, bulgogi chicken, gochujang tuna and the spiciest dish of all Buldak fire with chicken, beef or prawns and a layer of melted cheese on top.
The business says: “We believe great nutrition is a basic component of a happy, healthy life, which is why we create nourishing and nutritious meals.

“We serve food focused on the growth markets of free-from, flexitarian, veganism, vegetarian and plant based-dietary options: wholesome rainbowed ‘Instagrammable’ delights, crossed with the current demand for the rich surprising flavours of Korea.”
The food has had rave reviews across the border in Leicestershire. One customer said: “Just had a takeaway from the new Market Harborough branch and it was absolutely delicious. It was fresh and full of flavour. I’ll definitely be returning.”

The deal was secured by property consultants FHP who said: “What an addition to West Bridgford’s food scene and sure to be a hit!
“FHP are pleased to have acted proactively on behalf of the landlord in surrendering the lease of the closed Age UK store and securing the new tenants.”
