I am a mother to a few lovely young children, but I’m also a rooster mom to 17 chickens — 16 hens and a single handsome rooster.
But these chickens of mine aren’t meat birds, they are strictly egg levels (besides for that rooster of training course, his task is to just strut his stuff hunting handsome). So as a mom who wants to feed my household absolutely nothing but the healthiest, most healthy foodstuff, finding free variety, 100 p.c pasture-raised, non-GMO corn and soy cost-free meat birds is a ought to! The good news is, I created a new good friend at the Florence Farmers Market, Steve Knox from Fog Hollow Farm out of Walton, who raises every little thing from the happiest and healthiest chickens and ducks, to 100 percent organic and natural fed egg layers, to 100 % pasture raised, all grass fed and grass completed lambs.
Steve has been boosting birds for much more than 10 years, so he truly is aware of his things when it arrives to increasing pleased and healthier poultry. And he has turned his passion for increasing birds into a spouse and children affair, now working alongside his fiancé, Terah VanDusen, and their daughter, who even at the age of two helps her mom and dad with the eggs.
So if you are looking for pleased, balanced, pasture-raised chickens, ducks and lamb, you can discover Fog Hollow Farm each Tuesday at the Florence Farmers Industry, or you can order immediately by means of them at [email protected]
