Get Rid Cellulite

How to Get Rid of Cellulite in 12 Weeks Without Cellulite Creams, Lotions Or Exercise

Let’s face it, Cellulite isn’t pretty. Lumpy butts and thighs can be a turn-off for most women when they look at themselves in a bikini but cellulite isn’t their fault. It is formed by irregular patterns of elastic fibers and collagen under the skin (the dermis layer) that are unique to women. It is also caused by the natural breakdown of cells in the female body that occur with age. Nearly 90% of women suffer from the condition and most find it bemusing that nobody seems to know how to get rid of cellulite, but it is possible and really quite easy if you know how! Many women yearn for a smooth and firm body like the models they see in magazines, the gorgeous actresses and the music video vixens they see on the television. In the long and hard quest for the perfect body, lots of so-called solutions they try never work, such as fad diets and fat burning pills. Some women have found however that temporarily starving themselves will cause them to lose a few pounds, but the cellulite always stays put! This can’t be good for the body.

How To Get Rid of Cellulite – The Myth

1 – Regular Exercise

When attempting to get rid of cellulite, a good, long-term method is to do toning exercises. Just half-an-hour to 45 minutes of your day carrying out basic toning exercises such as jogging, swimming, jumping jacks and squatting can tone up the body as well as increasing blood flow and circulation. This will work long term, but requires a lot of effort and determination.

2 – Going On A Diet Plan

It can take a very long time to see a noticeable reduction in cellulite through dieting. This natural remedy will cause you to lose weight if you stick to a diet plan such as the Atkins diet, Acai berry diet or Cayenne pepper diet, but you will only see cellulite melt away if you cut out sugary, toxin-filled foods. Cellulite feeds on processed & unnatural substances so sticking to a non-toxin diet will shrink your cellulite but again requires a lot of self-discipline and determination.

3 – Detox and Cleanse your Body

As mentioned previously, cellulite is made up of unwanted fluid, fat and toxins. In order to reduce cellulite, you have to first get rid of the toxins to allow the fat dissolve more easily. Detoxing will require you to do the following:

  • Eliminating processed foods (fatty foods & articially sweetened foods) from your diet
  • Eating fruit and vegetables daily – preferably eat fruit for breakfast, salad for lunch and lean protein (meat) with vegetables for dinner
  • Cutting out alcohol & caffeine – Spirits, beers, wine and caffeine drinks (such as coffee and Red Bull) cause toxins to build up in the body quite rapidly, which will have the opposite effect of a detox and will in-fact help cellulite form
  • Drinking 8 glasses of water per day (equivalent of 2 litres) – This will cleanse the body

4 – Using Cellulite Creams and Lotions

Massaging a regular, anti-cellulite cream into your affected area is probably the least effective way to get rid of cellulite. Some expensive creams have been found to work however, as they are rich in anti-cellulite agents such as Vitamin A, but you should only purchase highly recommended creams and lotions that have been reviewed by sufferers and have proven to work for them.

The only way to get rid of cellulite is to directly attack the internal causes of its formation. In disposing of excess water retention and toxins under the skin, you can shrink the fat cells that cause the lumpy appearance of cellulite.
